The following materials will show you how to build a fence with a guardrail with a length of 1.22m. and a wooden pole. An asterisk indicates the length used on the site.

Materials:

A) a wooden post: 14 x 14 x 1.00cm.

B) 1 post cap: 3 x 19 x 19cm.

C) 1 post cap: 2 x 14 x 14cm.

D) 4 cubes: 2 x 2 x 2cm.

E) 2 rectangles: 2 x 2 x 5cm.

F) 1 triangle: 2 x 6.4 x 14 cm.

G) 2 ornaments for the wooden posts 2 x 9 x 15cm.

H) 4 ornaments 2 x 2cm.

I) 1 top rail 4 * x 9cm

J) 1 lower cross member 4 x 9 *

К) 1 support 2x 5cm *

L) 8 slats 2 x 9 x 87cm.

№3, №6 and №8 are galvanized iron nails

Flat head screws - 4cm.

1) To build a slatted fence (A) cut out a wooden post 14 x 14 x 100cm. Make 1cm chamfers at each corner. Using a 5 x 20 cm square piece of wood (B). And another 3 x 5 cm. Make a hood (C). Make decorative shapes. To make other decorative elements, use another piece of wood 3 x 10 cm (G) and other ornaments.

2) To make the guardrail, cut two wooden boards 5 x 10 cm to build the upper and lower cross member (I, J). Use the pen to mark where you will attach the wooden slats. Place a small 3 x 10 x 5 bar for extra support (K). Secure the slats to the crossbars 6 cm apart (J) using two screws.

3) Using a saw and sandpaper, you can also give interesting shapes to the wooden slats. The slats should be drilled at the top end.

4) Locate the posts and secure them with nails and a nailing machine. It is important that you check if the fence posts are placed correctly so that the fence is firm and strong. Now install the elements previously made on the wooden posts.
