The American company Microsoft is considering a new Windows 10 update which will be marked by a major change: login without password. Specifically, this is a setting in the system that will allow users to disable their passwords and log in using only Windows Hello's biometric options. The new update, when will it be available?
New Windows 10 20H1 update provides for password-less login
Many people have yet to bet on Windows Hello or are completely unaware of its existence. And to encourage them, Microsoft has decided to announce its new settings, including the removal of passwords. The next Windows 10 update is scheduled for 2020 but according to US IT, some of the Insider program members already have this new option.
By enabling this setting, Windows 10 completely eliminates setting the password and offers the user to choose a Windows Hello sign-in option. It can be done via fingerprints, a PIN code or facial recognition.
If you are part of the Insider program and have access to Windows 10 20H1 update, follow these instructions to activate it: Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options -> Login without password -> On.
