Monica Belluci And Vincent Cassel Reunited At The Venice Film Festival

It is for the reissue of the film "Irreversible", a shocking work that hit the headlines in 2002, that the two ex-lovers Monica Belluci and Vincent Cassel met on the Italian red carpet this Saturday evening. An unprecedented screening, which of course could not take place without the two main actors of the film. One dressed in white, the other in black, the ex-duo was all the rage during their appearance at the Venice Film Festival. The parents of Deva and Léonie posed with the director and then each on their own. Tina Kunakey, the new wife of Vincent Cassel, with whom the actor recently welcomed a pretty little girl, was also present at the event.

Although separated since 2013, the two actors still have a lot of admirers! In front of the media, Monica Bellucci unveiled the brand new aspect of the film which caused a scandal at the Cannes Film Festival in 2002. The Italian star confided that it is indeed a brand new cut of “Irreversible”. In the first version, Gaspard Noé told the story backwards or, in other words, starting from the end. In the reissue, we see what happens to the characters chronologically, from their love story to the tragedy that destroyed their lives.

And while the French actor and his wife Tina posed for the photographers on August 30 just before the screening of "J'accuse", Monica for her part came all alone. Separated from her last companion Nicolas Lefebvre, she however hinted to the media that she is not necessarily single.
