Video: Indoor Swimming Pool - A Work Of Art With Sentimental Value

Minimalism has become very popular as a philosophy and a way of life. The minimalist design strives for simplicity in all its expressions: simplicity of forms, materials, space, details and colors. This style is often criticized for lacking originality or a unique and personal touch due to the tendency to use less and less elements and details in favor of free space. Deavita presents you a luxury villa with a minimalist design which with its unique indoor pool breaks some stereotypes of this style.
Indoor pool with personalized design

"3ndy Studio" adopted the philosophy of minimalism for the construction of the Diamond Tree villa for the Simioni family in Ponzano Veneto, which lies between the residential and rural area of North-East Treviso, while proving that this style does not is not necessarily private of unique and personalized character.

The emphasis is on the sintered stone used in its “absolute black” shade from the range for the back wall of the indoor swimming pool on which the Italian artist and sculptor Giorgio Milani presented the history of the sea through his prism. Simioni family. It looks like a real stele emerging from flowing water, sunny with natural light. This work of art is the personalized element that gives a unique character to the villa and symbolizes family memory, while serving as a link between past, present and future. The future being strongly expressed by minimalist design.

The solid surfaces of the facade and inside, on the other hand, are in absolute white. This monolithic feel is unexpectedly interrupted by this contrast and the prismatic slits on the walls that reflect natural light like a diamond. This is what actually gave the name of the villa.

The use of solid surfaces for the construction of the facades in this project was a great challenge for the architects. According to them, it was really very difficult to cut and shape the solid slices that would allow them to follow the polygonal opening of the windows. This critical stage of the construction required an in-depth analysis of the mechanisms for fixing the panels and the use of all the know-how and precision of the craftsmen.
Finally, the result is excellent. The purity of the white materials and their hardness serve as a unique waterproof, weather-resistant outer shell. The landscape that opens before the eyes presents the municipality of Ponzano Veneto, and the photovoltaic and solar panels, as well as the geothermal plants, highlight the sustainability of the project and respect for the environment.
Classic geometric one-touch minimalism

The concept is based on the principles of decomposition, subtraction and rotation of volumes in order to allow multiple perceptions of space. This villa is a quintessential example of the balance between simplicity and luxury. Diamond Tree carries all the characteristic features of the minimalist style: geometric shapes and silhouettes, large panoramic windows and neutral colors.

The lack of transition corridors between the living and sleeping areas creates a feeling of hybrid and fluidity of the space, thus eliminating any hierarchy between these two areas, the space being filled with natural light entering freely through the large flat roof window. The transition inside is free of any obstacle or boundary, thus ensuring an unimpeded passage, without doors, without the slightest effort, between the different rooms.

The master bedroom is separated from the rest of the house by a special sliding wooden wall.
Zen interior courtyard bathed in natural light

The heart of the villa is partially occupied by an interior courtyard illuminated by the overhead light that casts the shadows of the trees on the interior walls and windows, thus allowing nature to enter and soften the angles of this space. marked with geometric shapes.

For the roofing of the house we used high quality natural materials, in particular slices of engraved walnut wood and black granite, mixed with high-tech materials, namely sintered stone surfaces, selected for their characteristics. aesthetic.
