Valentine's Day is fast approaching. And since the party is no longer just for couples, we've got a few ideas for Kindergarten DIY activities suitable for kids. Go for it ! Invite toddlers, we are sure they will take real pleasure in making personalized gifts with their own little hands. Our ideas are explained step by step to facilitate the realization (with the help and supervision of an adult of course).
Coloring for the little ones

Here is an idea suitable for children from two years old. You can find on the Internet and print pictures of hearts, angels or favorite characters from books or movies about love. Children can color and cut out the drawing, so that they can glue it later on a sheet folded in half. There you go, the menu is ready! This is a super easy DIY Kindergarten Valentine's Day DIY idea!
Kindergarten Valentine's Day DIY: card with fingerprints

It will be a unique gift, guaranteed! Easy to make, this card for Valentine's Day still has a great advantage - the technique applied to it is a lot of fun for toddlers.
To make this card you will need:
• 2 white A4 sheets
• Pink
paint
• White paint • Scissors
Production:

Start by cutting out the heart shapes to cover that part of the sheet that is not to be painted with fingerprints. To create the heart patterns, fold a piece of paper and draw the shape of a half heart along the folded edge. Cut out the heart following the lines. For the two small hearts, cut them both together so that they are the same size. If cutting out hearts seems like a difficult task for kids, you can help them.

Place the three hearts on the front of your card using some temporary adhesive or small pieces of double-sided tape to hold the three hearts in place. Pick a few shades of pink paint or create them yourself by mixing the pink shade you have available with white paint. A thin layer of each shade will be enough to soak your fingertips in. And the time has come for the fun part! Dip and print your fingers around the hearts. Make sure not to apply too much paint to your fingertips to prevent the paint from bleeding through the heart shapes.
Hearts made from Eva craft foam

What better way to say "I love you" than with a card with diy hearts? These Eva craft foam hearts are super easy to make for little ones. You can decorate the hearts with glitter glue or glitter.
To make this card, you will need:
• A white sheet
• Glitter glue
• Two or three pink or glitter shades of Eva foam
• Scissors
Production:

Cut out the four different sized hearts as described above. Arrange them as you like on the folded sheet. For a shimmering stripe effect, cut another heart out of craft foam in a different color, the same size as the one you want to decorate. Cut it into strips and glue them to the corresponding place on the heart you want to embellish. Write a message with the glitter glue and let dry. It may take a few hours. So remember to allow enough time for the glitter glue to dry before putting the card in an envelope.
Glitter snow globe

Materials needed:
• Pipe cleaners in pink and one more color of your choice.
• An empty transparent glass jar
• Glitter
• A hot glue gun
• Glue sticks
Production:

First, take some pipe cleaners. Fold the top into a heart shape with your hands, making sure to leave a rod below at least a few inches. Cut if necessary. Use the glue gun to glue the stem of the pipe cleaner hearts to the inside of the jar lid. Leave to dry. Put the lid on the jar and check if all the hearts are inside. Add a few more, if you wish.

Remove the lid from the jar and put in, at the bottom of the jar, about a teaspoon of glitter. Fill the jar with a mixture of deionized water and glycerin, until it is three quarters full. Stir the sprinkles until they are mixed with the water and glycerin. You may be wondering what is glycerin for? It thickens the water. The more you put in, the slower the glitter will fall. To prepare the mixture, use 1 unit of glycerin for 9 units of water. As an alternative, you can use cane sugar or baby oil. Screw on the cover firmly and shake.
Decorative paintings on canvas

These themed decorative paintings are the perfect gift for kids to create. We present four different variations, so there is something for everyone. Or you can do all four to create your own gallery wall!
Materials needed:
• A white canvas
• Pink and white pompoms
• Two shades of pink paper • Self-
adhesive craft foam hearts
• Scissors
• PVA glue
Heart of pompoms

Create your heart model by folding a sheet of paper in half and drawing half of a heart. Use the template to draw a heart, paste it in the center of the canvas. Glue the pink and white pompoms on the heart in the center of the canvas, covering it as you go. Let the glue dry.
Heart of buttons

Using your template from before, draw a heart around the template in the center of the canvas. Glue the buttons of different sizes using PVA glue to cover the drawn heart shape.
Tissue paper heart

Using the same pattern, draw a heart in the center of the canvas. Tear and crumple small pieces of tissue paper, the more you have, the more beautiful the heart will be! Fill the heart shape with pieces of crumpled tissue paper. Leave to dry.
Eva craft foam heart

As in the previous example, draw a heart in the center of the canvas. Store the Eva foam hearts and glue them on the heart. Add small pom poms and small shiny hearts, filling in the spaces of the drawn shape. Leave to dry.
