For a calming interior that is closer to nature, no need to invite the urban jungle to your home! By simply creating a decor in gray and green, you can very easily renew your connection with Mother Nature, while bringing a tropical touch to the house. To help you in this quest, the editorial staff has unearthed 4 contemporary interiors, all enhanced by little green touches. So, after the biophilic trend, zoom in on another natural trend to consider for your home.
4 ideas for a decor in gray and natural green

Want a trendy color that can satisfy all your decorative desires and enhance the character of your interior? Green and all its variations cross the seasons and remain a timeless choice. You can invite it into your home, your living room, bedroom or kitchen, and use it on your walls or through your furniture and decorative objects. White, gray and black can go very well with it to provide a natural and relaxing atmosphere. The proof with this pretty apartment, located in Kazakhstan, where the different shades of green are highlighted by dark gray and white.

Occupying an area of approximately 37 square meters, the green apartment is optimized to the maximum. It has a living room open to the kitchen and the dining area as well as a small bedroom limited by a glass partition. Once inside, you immediately see the presence of green in each area: on the cushions and chairs, through the kitchen furniture and decorative items… it is even found on one of the walls in the sleeping area. Plants and greenery are not left out either. You can get them on the coffee table and in the dining area.

And while the color green gives a boost to the gray living room, it transforms the limited kitchen into a living room. View of the furniture and chairs, it counterbalances the polished concrete splashback and the white side bar. Even the hallway of the apartment evokes the natural hue. In short, a superb decor in gray and green that invites the outdoors inside and creates an atmosphere where life is good.
A decor dominated by gray while green is introduced in small touches

As for the second gray and green interior, it can be found in Kiev, Ukraine. In the living room, the sofa is adorned with shades halfway between black and white. Surrounded by muted shades and noble materials, the sofa is resolutely modern. To bring nature in, the designers have paired it nicely with a green velvet cushion, which in turn blends with the curtains, the chairs in the open kitchen and the green landscapes behind the panoramic windows.

Occupying an area of 63 square meters, this apartment is more spacious and more illuminated than the one presented previously. Shades of gray and white run through the interior and accompany LED lighting with delicacy. Large granite slabs dress the wall in front of the gray sofa, while providing excellent support for the suspended screen TV. They are also found in the kitchen, enhancing the worktop and the credenza. But that's not all. Granite makes a centerpiece material in the bathroom, hallway and reading nook.
Gray, green and light wood in a contemporary rustic interior

From Kiev to Moscow, our journey continues with another small contemporary apartment, where gray and green combine with wood to immerse the living room in a rustic atmosphere. Despite the limited surface area, the place has everything necessary to meet the needs of the inhabitants. Welcoming and optimized to the maximum, it benefits from several storage spaces. The kitchen and the small living room are delimited by stools and a wooden side bar. A small sofa and adjustable coffee table nestle and fit into the seating area. Opposite, a small wooden ladder slides out to access additional storage spaces installed above the door.

Unlike the previous example, wood reigns supreme here. On walls and furniture, it blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior by blending perfectly with the green touches of the decor. As for the latter, we see them on the sofa in mouse gray, on the kitchen cabinets and through the decorative paintings hanging above the sofa. Some plants are also present. As for the kitchen furniture, they play with the different shades of green by combining sage green and pastel green. The goal? An optimized and visibly enlarged kitchen.

Narrow and sometimes poorly arranged, the entrance is often neglected, but suitable solutions exist. No question that it remains a simple place of passage. A little imagination allowed the creators of this place to gain volume and transform the limited entrance hall into a room in its own right. They opted for a nice make-up area and an integrated storage cupboard. To this, they added good adapted lighting and a mirror for a guaranteed depth effect.
Gray, green and woody touches… or when the forest comes inside

The gray living room is chic! However, it can be gloomy and sad at times. To avoid the look too dark, the designers of our latest contemporary interior have pushed the natural concept as far as possible by opening the living space to the outside and vice versa. The final result ? A large living space enhanced by a decor in gray and green, all warmed by designer lighting and several woody touches! Granite, too, fits into the wall decoration to give more warmth to the place.

Composed of large sliding picture windows offering a view of a pretty interior courtyard, this interior allows you to live outdoors all year round and to enjoy a decor that smells of nature. A real place of relaxation, the living room opens not only to the outside, but also to the kitchen. The only obstacle? A large column covered in green painted wood and enhanced by integrated lighting, behind which is the gourmet room. Imposing and decorative, this construction indeed represents the heart of the residence. And in order to best match its vitamin color, the designers opted for an accent chair in the same color.

A similar atmosphere reigns in the bedroom, where the natural decor dominates. The only difference ? Here dark wood mixes with light wood. The gray furniture and white walls transform the room into a real work of design art. In addition, the bedroom, too, opens to the outside and to the bathroom. Regarding the latter, it combines wood and marble to display a majestic and refined look.
