Whether you are confined to the house or not, it is very important to always take care of yourself. While having a sufficiently strong immunity is the major challenge in being able to cope with viruses and bacteria, personal hygiene plays an essential role in maintaining and improving health and well-being. Today, it is more important than ever to take daily care and personal hygiene products more seriously, especially those that we use daily without paying them much attention. Discover the 5 cosmetic products not to be overlooked during your usual skincare routine.
Personal hygiene products never to be overlooked

The soap
Soap is one of the personal hygiene products we use the most every day. Currently, soaps come in different shapes and scents. But how do you know which one to choose? In terms of efficiency, liquid soap has a much weaker cleaning power than solid soap. The latter contains extremely powerful agents which eliminate bacteria, without damaging the skin. In addition, this hygiene product does not generally contain additives or pollutants harmful to our body and the planet.

The shower gel
Shower gels are constantly reinventing themselves. From texture (creamy, frothy, jelly, powder etc.) to scents (citrus, red fruits, chocolate, coconut, perfume etc.), these skin care products always have something to surprise, and with good reason. The shower gel accompanies us in our daily beauty rituals, bringing us energy or inspiration with the shower in the morning, or a feeling of relaxation and comfort with the shower at night. As it is one of the personal hygiene products that we use daily, its choice deserves careful consideration.

Deodorants and antiperspirants
After showering, most people are used to applying either deodorant or antiperspirant. If for some it is simply linked to the desire to feel even fresher and to smell good, for people suffering from excessive sweating, the use of products against perspiration is more than a necessity. To choose the product you need, you have to differentiate between deodorants and antiperspirants. These products have a different effect on sweat. Deodorants don't block sweat production - their job is to mask body odor. Antiperspirants, on the other hand, tighten the pores of the skin by blocking, at least in part, perspiration. This process prevents the formation of sweat odors.

Shaving products
Shaving is part of the grooming routine of the majority of men. To treat yourself to an impeccable shave and avoid irritation and the feeling of burning, it is important to have the right tools and products, but also to know some basic gestures. The first rule is to prepare the skin. To do this, just take a shower, so that the heat opens the pores and softens the hair. It is only then that you apply your favorite shaving product (cream, gel, soap or oil). We shave in the direction of the hair growth. After shaving and rinsing, dry the skin and apply a soothing after-shave product.

Combs and hairbrushes
The care for the hair and the scalp constitute a true routine of beauty, well-being and health as much for the ladies as for the men. Brushing, in particular, has become an almost automatic gesture that we all tend to overlook. This is probably due to the eternal dilemma between the brush and the comb. Which one to choose ultimately? The comb is the most commonly used accessory, whether for styling or detangling hair. As there are several types, you have to choose according to the nature and type of your hair. For example, to tame curly or frizzy hair, a wide-toothed comb should be preferred. On the other hand, a comb with tight, fine teeth would be ideal for fine, straight hair. Regarding the choice of brush,we always respect the nature of the hair. In general, the finer and more fragile the hair, the more you will choose a brush with soft bristles. If the hair is thick, you should use a stiff bristle brush.
