Instructions and materials needed

For this project, you need:
- A wood slice
- Painting (green, black, white and orange)
- Brushes (a wide, flat brush, a medium brush, and a small fine brush)
- A pointer pen
- Water
Instructions:
1. Use the larger brush to paint a wavy shape in white near the bottom of your slice of wood. It will be a snowdrift.
2. Clean the flat brush and use it to paint a tree green as shown in the video above.
3. Use the small to medium sized paintbrush and white paint to add snowy details to the branches of your tree.
4. With the smaller paintbrush and black paint add a tree trunk, connecting the green of your branches to the snow white so that the evergreen foliage looks like it is nestled in the snow.
5. Use the large paintbrush dipped in white paint to create a circle on the left side of the wood washer. Then draw the nose in orange and the eyes in black.
6. With the pointer or a toothpick, add small snowflakes to your scene!
Tip: If you don't have acrylic paints, you can use nail polish. Another idea is to glue small nail beads to create the eyes and mouth.
