- 1 cup of shea butter

Homemade Vanilla Body Butter
- 65g shea / cocoa butter
- 120 ml of coconut oil
- 120 ml of sweet almond oil
- 2 tbsp. vanilla extract / 1 vanilla bean, separated
In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil and shea / cocoa butter in a double boiler. Add the sweet almond oil and vanilla, then mix everything well and simmer for a few minutes. Once the mixture is melted, pour it into a metal bowl and place it in the fridge for 1-2 hour (s) to solidify. Stir occasionally. Take the body butter out of the freezer and turn it into whipped cream using a mixer. If the mixture is still too runny, refrigerate it before trying again. Finally, all you have to do is place your new body care in a pretty airtight glass jar and voila! Use this cream every day without moderation!
Body cream with mango butter
- 1 cup shea butter
- 1/2 cup mango butter
- 1/2 of sweet olive oil
- 20-25 drops mango essential oil
As you can probably guess, you have to melt both butters first. In a saucepan filled with water, heat the shea butter and mango butter in a double boiler, stirring occasionally. Tip: use a metal or glass container. Once the mixture is liquid enough, remove the pan from the heat and mix the melted butters with the rest of the ingredients. Let the mixture cool and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes or until it solidifies. Finally, all you have to do is turn it into whipped cream.
DIY gourmet chocolate body butter
Besides nourishing the skin, this body butter recipe also has a little self-tanning effect.
- 1/2 cup of organic cocoa butter
- 1/2 cup shea / mango butter
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil
- 1/2 cup jojoba oil
- 1 C. 1 tsp peppermint essential oil (optional)
- 1-2 tsp. cocoa powder
- 1-2 tsp. vitamin E (optional)
Melt the cocoa butter and the mango butter in a double boiler over low heat. Add the coconut oil while stirring and simmer until the mixture is completely liquid. Remove from the heat. In a bowl, put the cocoa powder and gradually add the jojoba oil. Mix, then pour everything into the coconut oil, cocoa and shea oil. Let the preparation cool and put it in the refrigerator for 10-20 min. Whip it into a whipped cream with the mixer and transfer it to a glass jar. Use regularly!
Homemade Whipped Body Butter with Rose Petals
- 1/2 cup of shea butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tbsp. apricot rose scented essential oil (recipe below)
- 15 drops of rose geranium essential oil
- 6 drops of lavender essential oil
- 1 C. arrowroot
- 1 C. tablespoons of pink clay
How to prepare fragrant apricot EO?
In a mason glass jar, place a generous handful of dried rose petals and cover them with apricot essential oil. Carefully squeeze the petals so that they are completely submerged. Close and let steep for 48 hours, shaking occasionally. Then filter the oil through a sieve making sure all the rose petals are removed. Use the flavored oil to make the pink body butter!
Preparation of pink body butter:
Once the shea butter and coconut oil are liquid, mix them with a mixer. Add the scent oil, arrowroot, pink clay and essential oils to it and beat until the pink clay is well mixed with the oils. After obtaining a fairly light and creamy preparation, pour it into several small glass jars.
